About Shauna Fox
Shauna Fox is a 21 year old artist from Bangor, Northern Ireland. She is based in London, where she is studying fine art painting at Camberwell College of Arts. Shauna makes paintings, sculptures and installations related to being a woman in 21st century Britain and more recently, issues related to Northern Ireland.
Fox on ‘Belfast Baps’:
“This body of work is mainly based on my experience of living in Northern Ireland for 18 years, moving to London and then looking at it from afar. Moving away has made me interested in finding out more about where I’m from, but the more I discover about where I’m from, the more I question whether it’s somewhere I can be proud of and want to live in again.” Shauna Fox
